ST MICROELETRONICS  (SGS - THOMSON)

Traduzione Italiana

In 1987 the Italian SGS (Società Generale Semiconduttori) and the French Thomson Semiconducteurs merged into SGS Thomson, later to be called ST Microelectronics.
The company never designed an own x86 CPU, but entered an agreement to sell under its own name some of the CPUs that it produced for Cyrix which had no production plant, as it is well known.

I tested these CPUs with a nice mainboard, Aopen AP43 (all settings) and CPUID by Debbie Wiles.
